Correlating local geologic maps with the actual bedrock face in Amherst, NY.

Digging soil pits for the High School Earth Science unit on soils. We found evidence of a past fire in the soil layer about 3-4 feet down in Buffalo, NY.

While the weather was still good, I took out all of my classes (6th Grade and 10th Grade Earth Science, STEAM, and 11th Grade Physics) to study tree rings and what they tell us about past climates (PaleoClimatology),

In Physics, we were learning about Newton's Laws of Motion using a metal hanger and a penny. This also shows how Centripetal Force works.

In the Spring of 2022, I started doing some geographical (maps), geologic, and soil geomorphology research in South Buffalo with my 7th and 8th Grade Students in the back of the school that I teach at. This lead me to start studying the rich Native American History of the area (Anthropology and Archaeology).
